Chapter 23

I slowly open my eyes as the gentle stroking up and down my arm brings me awake.

“Harley,” my mind whispers softly, soothing me.

He is here with me, in my bed, with my head still on his chest. We stayed this way the entire night. I feel the butterfly wings overtake my stomach again.

"Come on my beauty. Wake up so I can spend the day with you," I hear his whisper. His words send warmth spiralling through me.

I take a moment before I let him know I am awake. It is not every day a girl wakes up with Harley Stile in her bed. The thought makes me squeamish as I suddenly realize I have bad breath, no make up on, and I am pretty sure my hair is matted and knotted.

Hesitantly, I lift my head and look up at him. I see him gasp and his eyes widen. Great, I scared him. I uncomfortably look down and realize he wasn’t looking into my face but past it, further down, to my cleavage that is bared to him. My pajama top has pushed down throughout the night, until it barely covers my nipples. Feeling his gaze, my nipples have hardened into tight peaks. I feel warmth flood between my thighs. Forgetting about my bad breath and lack of makeup, I look back at his eyes and seeing the desire for me there, I slowly move my body up to bring my lips to his. I don't care how brazen this seems, I can't help myself. Harley brings out a side of me I never knew I had.

Harley tightens his arms around me briefly before he flips me on my back to continue kissing me. He settles himself between my legs and I feel all control leave me as I feel the hardness of his erection. I moan, excited that finally he is going to end this torture. More moisture pools between my legs in anticipation and I grind myself against him.

His lips leave mine to travel to the tops of my breasts, laving at each of them before withdrawing, grabbing both my hands to bring them up over my head. My chest is heaving, yearning, between my legs on fire as he looks down at me, his hair falling forward creating an intimate cocoon.

He shakes his head at me before leaning down to suck and nibble at my neck while whispering, "You are determined to drive me mad I think." He gently bites my ear causing more heat to flood between my thighs. I have never experienced such intense desire for anyone else.

"Please Harley," I whisper, coaxingly, and grind against him again.

He pulls his head back to look at me. He is so close, his eyes directly across from mine, our breaths mingling.

"We can't. You need time and I need to woo you," he whispers as he gently kisses my lips to soften his refusal before quickly rolling away from me to stand by the side of my bed, his hardon evident as it strains against his underwear.
